still a new year with more new beginnings....

i have moved out of the main house and into our cottage (yes, it means what you might think--and for now, that is enough said on the subject--i think-- LOL)   so i am busy with decorating and moving over my vast sewing accumulations and finding new homes for everything and getting used to where things are now--including myself....

this is much easier said than done after 30 years of marriage--well, a few weeks shy maybe.....we would celebrate 30 years on valentine's day--and of MANY years of accumulating an assortment of crafty bits, fabrics, tools, and notions.....every kind imagineable.....it is A LOT of stuff. i am trying to go thru stuff and cull sort of as i go, but letting go of things is not easy for me....i form strong emotional attachments to things (and people)

i am busy, i am distracted, i am becoming less hurt and more peaceful.  i am learning alot about myself as i go thru things as to why i keep them or why i stop working on something to pick up another, i am learning about caring for myself as well as for my children and how to do it in a healthy manner.....

i visited my friend juan lee (of the limoncello maker and bottler fame!!!) and she and i went to the movies.  we laughed, we cried (well, not really, but it sounds good doesn't it?) but oh how we did laugh!!!  and, we went and saw burlesque with cher and christina aguilar--they are both amazing!!!  and, cher sang what is now my theme song for myself....providence and kirk were playing rockband and there is also another anthem for me from there, but i forget what song it is LOL but, here is cher singing "you haven't seen the last of me"--it is sorta my get back in the game--fight song--you can take me down, but you can't take me out.....i have a voice....

if it goes to another video, scroll thru til you get to the right one--and, then, after if it goes to christina singing anything, listen to is, coz in my estimation, she is amazing!!!  such a powerful voice in such a small beautiful package.
