yesterday my "favorite son, daniel, and his awesome wife, marissa" (in daniel's own words written in his card) came over to bring some dodger tickets for kevin and me for last night's game (which they won, in the bottom of the 9th with a grandslam--doesn't get much better than that!)
they also brought a great little wooden (bamboo) suduko game and inside of that was a BEAUTIFUL sapphire (dodger blue in color) and diamond ring and necklace--WOWIE!!! was i ever surprised! i LOVE the gifts, and i LOVE them....they are good kids, and i am blessed to have them as mine ;o)
then, tonight, kevin told me to look at the window that was open on his computer, and it was of a BEAUTIFUL new camera--an olympus Evolt E-520 10 MP Digital SLR Camera Body with ED 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 Zoom Lens to be exact! wowie!!! lots of bells and whistles that i am going to have to take a class on to learn how to use it all LOL BUT, that does mean that i will not have pictureless blog posts anymore!!! HIP HIP HOORAY!!! he said i should have it in about a week, along with a bag and some other goodies to go along with it--can't wait!
what a wonderful man i am married to! and, i also got 2 dozen roses delivered yesterday too, and also got rhiannon's delivered, so that was a treat.....my mom called and she got hers, jenna got hers, and also kevin's mom got hers.....lots of roses and tulips delivered on behalf of a wonderful son, son-in-law, father and husband....we are so blessed to have him in our lives.....the roses are opening just beautifully as they should be, and they are so fragrant! flowers give me such great joy.
gotta get off to boofland, gotta get up early to get some things done, then go out to work again trying to track down some non-responders for the census. i have really met some really nice people out there--so far only one cranky one.....it is an interesting little job as far as jobs go....but like i said, i prefer to just be at home juggling all THAT entails instead of trying to juggle work AND all the family and kids stuff....

We did Mothers day a few days ago, only we called it Oldest Son's B-day. where did the time go? My 'baby' is having their third child in a few weeks, it doesn't seem possible.
Our daughter asked me what I wanted for Mother's Day- I said :This is IT!- everyone together and cake. life is good. cw
I got a new camera too!!!! Daniel actually told me to get that one, but I ended up getting a Canon XSi (a DSLR) along with a bag, a memory chip, and a wonderful book!! It should be here on Monday! I also got a new Dyson vacuum, but Matt keeps telling me that it wasn't for mother's day... which I guess it wasn't, but still, it made me a VERY happy lady!! I loved getting the flowers from dad, I tried calling a few times yesterday to say thanks, but no one answered. Anyhow... I'll see you in a couple of hours- we're coming up there ;)
