mother-son fun in the sun

what a fun time we had yesterday after school.  it was  a bit windy, but when isn’t it in the desert in may?  but a wonderful day none-the-less….

we got our pictures taken together……they get to pick those up next week…..

 

had 3 legged races…………

 

ah! the thrill of victory!!!

 

egg-in-the-spoon races, 

 

water balloon tosses, tug-o-wars,

 

 

 

 

a dunk tank with caoin managing to dunk the principal—  we love mr. mc donald…. he is the best principal ever…..

and goodies…..and grass to run and play in with friends……     

 

and to just have a really grand time…..

 

the girls, providence and siobhan, walked over from their school when it was out, and spent the last hour with us…so that was also alot of fun to have them there…… of course provi was on the phone or texting most of the time, but it didn’t seem to hurt her 3-legged race any…….then, home and off to church for the night.  what a fun time, and hopefully a good memory maker for the kids…..it was a PTA fundraiser for the school and only cost us $4 for the 3 of us to go, but on leaving, tadhgain said it was a real bargain coz we got $20 worth of fun out of it LOL
