wow! ANOTHER late night at the emergency room. we sure have had alot of those lately, almost all having to do with abdominal pain from one person or another. last night was randi's turn. we went to urgent care where we were promptly sent off to the emergency room--yeah, that would be the emergency room that has NEVER had so many people visiting there in all it's known days.....i have never seen so many people waiting to be seen.....of course that meant hours of waiting--in pain. horrible pain.
after LOTS of tests and some good pain medication, she was finally feeling better and the appendix was ruled out, it was decided that she too has a horrible infection and possibly kidney stones had passed....geez, same thing with patience just a few weeks ago, but she DOES have the stones....what is up with that??? aren't they too young to have kidney stones??? anyway, i am TIRED since we got home at 2:30 am...and then up early hit the boards running with the kids.....
so, last night rhiannon comes home and wants to know what tristan ate coz he is covered with what she thinks is hives....i see him this morning and say, that is not hives, it looks like scarlet fever....geezz! so, home she comes from work, and now tristan is at the drs....
is there a nap in my future today? atleast kids that will sit quietly and watch a movie? no such luck....they are busy building forts in the living room and also a "big comfy" which is where you pile all the blankets and pillows in a huge heap and jump off the couch onto it.....doesn't that sound like a trip to the hospital with a broken bone in the making? they love it though.....i am gonna go bribe them with popscicles ontop of the big comfy with a movie and a treat if they are good and quiet....
instead of napping, i am going to go knit or sew....always thereaputic for me
