little calvin patrick fell, arrived feb. 14th at 9:21 a.m. weighing in at 8 lbs. 8 oz. and was 20.5 inches long....a full 2 lbs less than his brother silas! so, even though he is still a big baby, he is soooo like a tiny newborn to us ;o) this is a fuzzy little picture right after he was born.....he is just beautiful!
here is papa with his new little man.....kevin LOVES his grandkids soooooo much. he loves when he gets to see them and to hold little calvin when he was just a few hours old was sure special for him....don't you just love his little hat? well, kevin looks great in his little irish cap too, but i was referring to the FINISHED knit hat i made him.....socks are done too! as well as the knit bear cub hat and diaper cover....
i can't even wait til jenna takes pictures in that!!! it is adorable!!!
here is a picture i stole from jenna of matthew, silas and calvin.....the 3 men in her life....
we are thrilled calvin is here, and i have had a great time staying with silas so matthew could be at the hospital with jenna. they should all be coming home in just a little while and then i will go home for a few days while matthew is off work...then will bring patience down so she can stay with them and help out when matt goes back to teaching band.....hard to recover from a c-section with a newborn and a toddler....so, i will go home and miss my guys but it will be nice to see my kids again and to get a few things caught up on...
always thrilling to get a new baby in the family and we are so thankful to God for calvin, and for a safe and healthy delivery. it never ceases to amaze me how miraculous and creative God is in His perfect will and design.
