WHOO HOO!!! i am a happy woman!!!

i just found out that i am going on another cruise!!! hip hip hooray!

my daughter siobhan and i share the same date for our birthday~October 14th.

i LOVE to see that date....to me, it is the most beautiful date....i love october....it is my favorite month, and i always get a bit of a thrill when i see or hear the word October....then, i am an even number person....odd numbers bother me. i don't know why, but they do....especially seeing them written....odd (as in strange, not as in not even LOL) i know.....anyway, i just LOVE seeing October 14.....

so, tonight kevin and i were reviewing a huge stack of papers regarding class contracts etc. for the college....and after a few of those papers, next in the pile was an itinerary for a cruise for just siobhan and myself....his whole goal of reviewing this stack of papers--surpirsing me with this birthday cruise!!!

we leave on monday!!! he got the tickets in august and has kept it a surprise all this time! he let me know early this time (last time i did not know until we got out of the car at the embarkation place) so that i can help with a few of the plans for the week.....especially since i had already made LOTS of plans for next week that involved lots of different people....and there were already plans for going to disneyland with friends for our birthday....and, i am still going to disneyland on friday after i get off the ship with my friend to celebrate her birthday with her! wow!!! shea (or someone!) will come get us off the ship on friday and then she will drop me off at disneyland.....what a whirlwind this weekend will be getting things ready and packed and plans re-arranged.....anyone want to take 3 girls to disneyland on wednesday for me??? LOL

i have GOT to get a new charger for my computer too...i haven't been able to go on mine for about a week now--that has been nice for getting lots of other things done, but sure has been quiet on the blogfront...i want a new charger now so i can take it on the cruise with me.....that and lots of knitting and a few books! we are gonna have such a fun time with each other too---what a nice gift for kevin to give to us--we will really build some nice memories with each other, and she will always remember her 13th birthday :o) what a true gem of a husband and father huh???

on a quilty note~both of my tattoo quilts are nearly done....only 2 more rows to attach on each of them, and then i want to find the last outer border fabric still.....i will hopefully get those last 2 rows on tomorrow and some pictures taken of them.....don't know when the outer borders will happen but the obsession with getting those done is nearly satiated......it has been quite a satisfying project in my quilting career in the design and implimentation of that design into fabric.....very gratifying. i can't wait to get them all finished and quilted....
