normally i hate mysteries--in books, in movies, in life, in what is in the present???!!!
i think the only kind of mystery that i like are quilting mysteries.....they are done online over a period of time. sometimes a day, a weekend, and sometimes even a month or more.....anyway there are clues posted every little bit--the spacing depends on how long the mystery is.
there is a fantastic designer--dorothy young that has a mystery group, apocketfullofmysteries , and she does a mystery every christmas as a gift to us, and probably herself :o) anyway, she asked for testers and i got picked!! hip hip hooray!
below are my fabrics that i used--yes, used as in past tense.....as i just got done with most of the top....this is one great quilt design and i know i will make it again. too bad you can only look at my fabric choices so far since i can't spoil the mystery by showing anything more.....that focus fabric on the right i got at a garage sale for 50 cents for 3 yards!!! and the green in the middle for $1 a yard on clearance, and the light green was a remnant that was really cheap too as i don't buy anything expensive LOL my background color is black since it mimics the background of my focus fabric.....i had really wanted to do that with this fabric and this pattern ended up being the perfect pattern for that....i can't wait to show you the pictures --after christmas :o)
