why i am FINALLY making another post

i know, it has been FOREVER huh? what is finally making me post again in real life instead of just inside of my head??? a give away.

that is right. a give away. one of the groups i am in, actually, my favorite group, Quilting on a budget, is having a giveaway thru the ottlite company. the company has generously donated a floor lamp to our group for a give away. i want an ott lite. i NEED an ott lite. they are amazing at giving true lite that is cool, and does not cause eye strain.....i do alot of hand work, so a task light is a must for me. my kids make fun of me for calling it a task light, but that is what it is, and what millions of normal people call them--task lights--i don't know why they think it is an oddd name to call it, any way, that is what it is and i NEED a new one.....

can you tell that posting about our group and the giveaway was part of the entry to the giveaway? have i made you want one too? you should want one, if you ever saw one, you would want one too--but don't go sign up for the giveaway, coz you will diminish my chances for winning LOL

actually, now i just need to learn how to do a link to our group for you....when that is done...boy howdy, look out! i am in for the giveaway.....where is technical support when you need them?? or atleast one of my kids that could show me what to do....ah-ha! i see that little linky chain up above....wonder how i use it....http://quiltingonabudget.blogspot.com/ ok, that gets you to our wonderful blog that our wonderful leader joan so dedicatedly works on for us. she also has a great housewifey one...a very funny lady.....

now, i will learn what the link is for the actual group is....it is a yahoo group that you have to request membership into....yeah, i guess i don't actually have to do that....but, if you want to join us, go to yahoo groups and search us out--it is a really great group to belong to.....
