strabucks christmas decorations :o)

merry christmas!!! such cute little decorations they have this year! YARN BALLS!!!! there is a wreath.....

a little shelf sitting cluster..........

a swag....there was another one too, but i guess i did not take a picture of that after all.....

a topiary.....there are a few sizes of these....

how funny that i still have not posted pictures of caoin's birthday, of the knitty stuff done, my new sewing machine, or treadle machine....what makes it???? the yarn balls from starbucks LOL

when patience was telling me about them as i was driving her to work early thanksgiving morning a little thrill of anticipation ran through me. i love that little thrill......i get it when i see the pumpkin patches, when i see the christmas tree lots and the trees tied to the tops of cars....when i see one i say "christmas tree!!" in a happy little voice....lots of things give me that little thrill and i am sure glad of it....it is the small little things that give me such joy. the simple pleasures of my life :o)

another thrill for me is seeing the first snow on the mountains. that was this morning!!!! what a glorious sight! the next thrill will be when the ski lift lights go on for night skiing. i love seeing that on the side of the mountain as i am driving towards my home at nite......it reminds me of when hale-bopp comet was in the sky, trailing for the longest time above my home....i loved seeing that night after night and was so sad when it was gone for good......it is alway sad for me too when the skiing light goes out for the season....

anyway, these little yarn balls gave me great joy. i wanted to share them with you. i am gonna go have some tea and sit and knit for a while later in the week.......next i have to post the cable knit mug....i have the NEED for several of these....they would give me great joy to drink from.....

Yes, cute Xmas decs but their coffee is dire! Envy you seeing the snow on the mountains. What a view.

It's only dire when you can't get it for free- I think you will have an eternal 'hookup', mom. That is, if the rest of the kids follow down the same path ;)
