halloween morning.....

ahhhh!!! what an incredible sunrise this morning!!! such a beautiful sky......lots of clouds and the chance of rain......driving kevin to work every morning sure has it's advantages....we see the gorgeous sunrises and we get to spend time together.....we pray together for the day and for each of our children on the way into town....what a wonderful way to start our day.....

yep, it rained, and on the way back home there were fantastic rainbows....we have full rainbows here in the desert where you can see both ends. today, there was a double rainbow where there was one full one and to the side another part of one--of course the picture is no where near how grand it really was....but you can sorta see the partial one on the left.

so, today is the day for the new tatoo for shea......she has this incredible ribbon with all of our family's names--kevin*lynne*daniel*rhiannon*jenna*j.k.*shea*patience*randi*providence*siobhan*caoinlean*tadhgain
these are the before pictures......

this is the stencil.....she just lays the flowers over the ribbon, and so it will look like the flowers are behind the ribbon....all the purple will be gone later.....so this is just before the actual inking starts.....it is going to be REALLY pretty. there is going to be one large teal blossom in honor of my sister, the rest are going to be pink and the background is going to be purple......it is gonna take forever!!!!

we always have a fun time when someone is getting a tatoo done. we kinda like to make things into events, and so j.k. came on over, and so did jen bowman....we love jen bowman....why we call her jen bowman instead of just jen is beyond me, but she and j.k. are great friends....they went out and brought back starbucks and food too.....and also moustaches for all!!!!! funny what a little moustache will do to people....all of a sudden we were all italians and acting goofy.....

after a while i had to leave to go get kevin from work, and off to the rest of my day. this was right before i left......looks like it hurts huh? shea stayed for a bit longer and got all the outlines done on friday since it was halloween--after that heals for a week or so she will go back for some color--yeah! another trip to the tatoo shop!
