my bottle came today!!!

in one of my yahoo groups we had a swap that you took a 2 liter bottle and crammed it full of stuff for another of our members....the catch was that you were not to spend any money. this group is called quilting on a budget and is all about trying to come up with and sharing some inexpensive ways to quilt. let me tell you, it is an EXPENSIVE art-craft-hobby whatever you want to call it--it is expensive. but it is sooooo rewarding and is really theraputic for me......if i do not get to be creative OFTEN, i get REALLY irratible......it is really a driven NEED..doesn't matter if it is quilting, hand stitching, knitting or postcard making, i HAVE to do something......but i digress from my bottle.....

i sent to teri and she sent to me. i got mine today and it was such fun to open it up! she must have used a roll of packing tape on it! click on the picture so you can see these wonderful pieces of fabric...there are 1/2 yard pieces of the brown and dark grey, and 1 yard pieces of the light floral and light grey and then the 2 wonderful green fat quarters!!! and they all play nicely together :o) pretty cool huh? they will make a nice quilt! and, of course, i am sure that you noticed--LEAVES on the green fat quarters!!!

then, i have been searching for really small (size 0 and 1) and really big (size 17) circular knitting needles.....lookie there--hip hip hooray!!! i am one happy woman LOL

i think i have made myself sick on the mints-- already ate tons of them, they are kinda addicting ya know? and who can't always use a tablet, magnet and pens that match??? what a great little treasure trove! thanks teri--you did GREAT!!!

if you think that this group would be a good thing for you, go check it out at:
