i just wanted to add a bit more about my friend i talked about just now--she is one of the strongest women i know. tenacious is a word i would use to describe her (holding together; cohesive; not easily pulled asunder; tough --as taken from the dictionary--she would be proud that i used the online dictionary LOL)).....she faces adversity head on, with her head held high, with grit and determination, and grace.....where most would wither and shrink, or have a huge pity party (with darn good reasons too!) she just musters up her courage to keep on going.
she already knows where her strength comes from, and she already has faith to be strong--i just feel helpless in that there is really nothing i can do to lighten her burden.....i just want her to know how much i love her, and uphold her in prayer....and to encourage her to keep on going even when it is hard.....take a deep breath, swallow hard and take another step....and to laugh....laugh hard.....
one thing to forgot to tell her today when i saw her for the second time, was that she could always take her problem to stater brothers. she could tie a big bow around it's neck and see if anyone will take it home like a cute little new puppy, OR she could leave it in the car for a while and see what happens.....i know, no one else will get this, but i can hear her laughing all the way to my house she is laughing sooooo loudly that i bet tears are running down her cheeks
