graduation flowers
quilting.....they can't relate. they want me to blog about them, or other family, or my cruise, or life events, or the grass growing, or ANYTHING other than quilting LOL
so, finally i will, since i already posted the grids for the week.... :o)
geez...i am so behind on so many life things! graduations....family times..... trips..... i never did post hardly anything about my cruise kevin surprised me with in april. i had NO idea that i was going until they pulled the suitcase out of the car at the docks....he planned EVERYTHING down to sunscreen and motion sickness pills (which came in handy!) and the kids all knew it for 2 weeks and never let on.
shopping in ensinada....LOVED the hues of the hand-dyed pashminas....did NOT buy any however! did buy a new purse though :o)
we had such a blessed time together. we travel well together i think--which is good, because i just found out that he has another trip planned for our anniversary in february. he had wanted to do the big secret surprise again, but the travel agent let it out on accident--we are going to ireland!!!! hip hip hooray!!! to dublin for 5 days--i can't wait!!! i am sooooo sad for him that his secret got spoiled but sooooo happy for me that i get to know and that i get to plan our trip and have all of the excitement of anticipation....i am so blessed!
for graduations this year our family had LOTS!!!! jenna and her husband matt graduated from biola. he is gonna be a music teacher and she is a speech/communications disorders therapist. my mom and dad were able to come out from kansas for it which was really nice.....took a generation picture, we have 5 generations alive but my grandma (who is 95) was not with us....this is a real rarity...i rarely am IN pictures, and it is even rarer that i actually post it for God and everybody to see.....and, now i don't even look like this anymore since i dyed my hair brown again so it is no longer white--i looked like my mother's twin huh? LOL
shea and patience graduated from high school in december. patience decided to walk in her ceremony, she did not....they are both working and going to college.....shea at the crawfish boil, at jenna and matt's graduation with randi, then there is patience and daniel at pati's graduation and then her by herself at graduation....
providence promoted from 8th grate. this is the last year that they are having ceremonies for 5th and 8th grade promotions.....i am thrilled with that news coz i HATE graduation ceremonies! provi (holding the flowers) and one of her friends, and provi swimming......
eireland graduated from pre-school and will be going to kindergarten this august....wow! time flies! she and arcadia just stopped competitive cheerleading.....this is eireland at the las vegas competition....what a cutie! and then again at a family fun day at the college....

LYNNE! What a beautiful, BEAUTIFUL family you have! No wonder they wanted to be blogged about :0)
I have yet to dig into any of my "set-aside" fabrics for the Celtic Knot; still waiting to finish up a few projects and to have the inspiration strike. I'm printing off all the posts, though :0)
well thank you amy :o) yeah, i think they are pretty grand. if i would just not procrastinate and just do it as it happens i would be LOTS better off....it is when i let it all pile up that i get that panicky feeling of "way to far behind" that i get overwhelmed and then procrastinate even more.....i would like to get to do it a little more regularly so i get more accomplished with alot more joy--a win-win situation.
hhhhmmmmmm....a little like quilitng huh? don't get too far behind that you don't end up doing it--you will regret it i think......
