i begged for next week's clue--the corners. i wanted to see how those border blocks were gonna fit...ask and you can recieve! so, i whipped (a realtive term) out those corners and rough laid it out on the floor so i can mark my border applique blocks....the orientation is important in this and i have to decide if it is going to be laid on a table or hung on a wall....it will be about 40 inches square......if it is on the wall it would be best to have all the words the same way. if it is going on the table it will be best with the words going round the center square right? leave me a comment to let me know what you think i should do....
it will have atleast one more border, a narrow dark green one. i may follow that with a wider cream one with leaves and acorns going round, then the binding.....not really sure yet. but, i DO want leaves and acorns in the cream squares with words--love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, self-control (the fruits of the spirit) then also hope, forgiveness and trust........
so, here is my vote question-- should i:
a.) have the orientation as if it was going to be hung on the wall and the cream blocks all have the same top like a clock does
b.) have the cream blocks have their tops touching the center border so the words are going round the quilt edges
