hold the phone!!!

i got all of my blocks sewn. i got them sewn into rows of 7 across (making quadrants--love that chunky quilting you know) sewed 2 quadrants worth together so have half of the quilt top together....i hate it.

well, i don't exactly hate it, but i am not happy with it.....those bottom bits of the triangle are just way too small....just too tall and skinny....so...i played with it some more and NOW it is perfect....see what i did?
look at the bottom trinity knot and how it is MUCH more proportionate now--the bottoms loopies are now much longer and fill in alot more of the dark blue.....i did not fix all the other squares on the chart...i only work from a quadrant anyway.....there are now mirror images though, so becareful with those HST's placement.....
here is the new bit, compare it to the old one.....isn't it MUCH better? and, isn't her way of using these wonderful little squares to color and glue down wonderful? it makes changing your design easy peasy lemon squeezy--i LOVE karen combs :o)

i only had to change a few blocks too....and, i have them partially sewn already. i can not wait to get them done and the quilt finished up.

when i get the blocks all finished i will take new pictures and will then then re-post the 9 patches since there will now be a few more of those varieties LOL and, yes, i will go and address this in the old post......

i don't know if anyone is even working on this yet..or if ever.....but, i know i am a happy woman. i do know that i want a new name for it though...i am praying that God will help me out in that.....

I like the change. It looks more like a trinity knot now.
