i am sick and tired of being sick and tired....

it has been nearly 2 weeks....it has gone on long enough!!! i am sick and tired of being sick and tired....i think i am getting better though FINALLY! last week thursday our siobhan got sent home with a fever of 102...that went up to 104.6 and that sure scared me....we got her in the bath and brought it down a bit and then off to the hospital we went to discover that she has pneumonia in both lungs.....antibiotics and iv fluids and she is doing pretty good now this week and even went back to school on wednesday.....

there WAS a VERY good (for me!LOL) upside of being sick though.....if i did much of anything i started coughing up a storm and boy howdy my chest hurt......so, i could only sit around like a "piece" and do some hand stitching so except for 8 more words all of the handwork on my fall RAW--all of those leaves and acorns are DONE!!! AND----drum roll........AAAAALLLLLLL of the blocks for my real tattoo quilts--yes, quilts--plural--BOTH quilts have all the blocks done, i just need to put them together now. i decided to make the outer trinity knot border in the dark blue and the dark makes it look so much better than the light would have. and, i did not add the outer white border......now, i want to add atleast a 6 inch border to it but haven't decided if i want to just use more of the dark blue or if i want to introduce a print that holds the light, medium and dark blues along with some of the yellow...i am thinking of a few prints that i have seen, but am leaning on just the dark blue that is already in the quilt....so, that will be 2, yes--2!! king size quilt tops done :o) it almost made it worth being sick LOL

i will post pictures of the beautiful blocks over the weekend.....but, it is nice to be feeling better FINALLY!
