ta-da!!!
the top is done :o) i am really happy with how it turned out and am really looking forward to getting started in cutting into the real fabric for the larger quilts--nice to have this bonus one done too--i may border it with a wider dark green to make it a lap quilt instead of a wall hanging afterall. if i had left off the outer trinity knot border it could be a wall hanging, but this is just a bit to large don't you think? yep...that is what i will do.....add a green border--i love when a quilt continues to talk to you telling you what it wants to be when it grows up--i like it when i take the time to listen.....so, i guess the top is really not done after all is it? LOL

looks good, if you really want it for a hanging, quilt it and trim back to about an inch from the outer border. I vote for let it grow. I have a piece I am working on now that won't shut up- Bet it makes it to bed size. I am already considering borders- hate when they do that to me. What ever happened to just a quick project?
Beautiful!!!
Wow - that is awesome!!! Great job and great inspiration!!!

You sure got that one done in a hurry! I'm still waiting for my book to arrive!!!
It's lovely!
i HAD to get it done in a hurry as i had to get the blocks done so any of you that are wanting to do it too would know what blocks we needed and then figure out your cuts and fabrics etc....
now, the more i look at this, i believe i will take the outer border off, and end with the green--which means i have partial blocks left on the edge....and an odd shape, then i will bind it and have it as a wall hanging afterall....for my big quilts i will probably leave the outer border on.....
i hope you get your book soon, you will love it i am sure.
WOW, you are speedy! Beautiful and I'm sure you will enjoy it. I'm still working on the first one and loving it. Became very ill and got so behind but will get it done eventually. Have a great day!
I love it, but agree go with the dark borders and let it grow!
Wow I love it. Do you have a pattern?
