BIG MISTAKES!!!

OOOOOPPPPPSSSSSS!!!!!!! kay pointed out to me that i had mis-charted line 9 of chunk 16. i amde my chunk correctly, but mis-typed the table when posting here. i went and fixed it.

that being done, i decided to double check 15 and 17. 15 looks good, but can you find the mistake in both the picture and the chart in 17? it just "looks" wrong doesn't it? of course the top row is wrong. it should have a closed corner in that black to continue the pattern....i don't know why i didn't catch that when i wrote it down for my working copy, or why i didn't catch it when i was constructing it--probably because i was watching big brother again LOL i surely should have caught it when i was typing and posting it.....so, now i have to go change out that little square, take new pictures and re-post them.....that may not happen til tomorrow, but the table WILL be changed immediately.....today is a big pool party last hurrah night before school starts tomorrow, so it will probably get re-sewn and pictures tomorrow right after i drop the kids off, and after i have my celebratory glass of champagne--yes, i will mix it with some orange juice since it will only be 8:30 in the morning LOL

Cann't wait to finish. Mine is neutrals, blacks, greens, and pinky raspberries. Border will be two rows of green, three rows of neutrals and again two rows of green. I'll applique roses in the middle neutral border. My Mom was from Derry, Ireland and my Dad always called her his "wild irish rose" her name was Rose and she is greatly missed. Linda

Lynne,

Is there a new chart for chunk 17? Terry and Shirley both noticed errors and then I checked back and found the reference to chunk 17 but I just want to make sure we double check so i don't lead my whole gang astray.

I'm only on chunk 7 and have to take the whole thing apart because I got turned around somehow. I tried a new construction method called 'webbing' that my friend Shirley told me about which apparently speeds up the construction process but in my case it slowed me down, obviously. Back to the drawing board. I may take pictures and put them on my blog www.dayspringquilter.blogspot.com if anyone is interested. obviously...after I figure out where I went wrong so I don't lead the multitudes astray. :o)
