neighbors!
so, here is a little chunk of our mystery solved. these blocks are 3 and 14 over 17 and 5. i would love for you to e-mail me pictures of your neighborly chunks so that i can post them and we can get a glimpse of how your quilt is going to look too. does this give you a little umption in your gumption to get caught up? we only have 8 chunks left to put together after this week then will get the rest of the puzzle for fitting your chunks into this magnificent top.....hurry!!! go sew!!!

This is so beautiful and I wish my time were such that I could play along. I am hoping for some time in Sept or Oct LOL
Thanks for sharing your lovely pattern and work
Hi Lynne, I'm loving sewing this mystery pattern. Just wondering is there an error in chunk 16 - row 9, squares 4,5 and 7 that should read G instead of a -?
kay, thanks sooo much for pointing that out for me. i typed it late last night and even though i re-checked it after i checked it, i still missed that! it is fixed in the table now with a disclaimer in that post that there was a mistake before.....
cathie,
i will be posting the whole chart in a few weeks that you can print off and chunk it up yourself for when you are ready to make this--you WILL want to make it when you see it all done, i am confident of this LOL you can cut as you go too so no need to kill yourself cutting 2,000 squares all at once....when i saw this i knew if i tackled it all at once, or 43 squares row by row it would not be fun to make, so i decided it could be done one bite at a time in both the cutting and the sewing and so far it is really working well for me. my next quilt is gonna be like that too--this method works well for me because my sewing time comes in bits and pieces too.
yeah, big mistake in chunk 17 too...see how that black corner is missing in the top row? i am going to go fix that too....
