daniel and marissa's wedding quilt....also known as the celtic mystery sew-a-long! yep....THIS is what you all are making....it is beautiful isn't it? not a really great picture, coz it is HUGE , and outside in the sun and shadows, and a bit on the ground and cut off at the corners...but you get the gist of it right?
you can all thank daniel and marissa for getting married today for the early reveal.....they loved it....they took it home to lay on their bed to see if they want borders etc. then will give it back so that i can get it sent off to the longarmer to be quilted......i think it is beautiful.....their "real" wedding will still be next july and their colors are purple, green and black--how lucky was that? i didn't know that when i started making this quilt that i thought would be for ME....anyway, this wedding was for legalities and house buying, but it sure was fun to be a part of...marissa's mom and i were the witnesses and got to sign our names--that was pretty cool!!! we are pretty happy to merge our families :o)
anyway, i hope you like the design of the quilt and that it has been worth all the work you have put into yours....i LOVE it!!! and i SOOOOO thank deborah cohen for so generously sharing her design and allowing me to share it with you all.....
i will be going down the hill tomorrow to spend the day with my sister, and wednesday is busy too, so i will post the last 2 chunks in just a minute, and then also the chart for putting it all together....i won't get the excel chart converted to a jpg (what i can upload to here) til later in the week though, and posted probably over the weekend.....remember to send me pictures so i can post them here for others to see.......and, next week i think i am gonna post more about the celtic pieced illusions quilt i am doing on here......it is AMAZING!!!
