yes, i am home.....

i had an amazing trip, but boy howdy, time to hit the boards running as soon as i got home.....the kids start school one week from today!!! lots to do, and lots of shopping involved in that task when you have 7 kids at home doing school :o) but, what a fun time, for the most part, going shopping with all of them.

so, i am home, suitcase is still sitting there waiting for me to unpack it and those blocks are sitting there waiting for me to take pictures of them, which i will do today as well as make and post the grids for the new chunks. i did know that there was not a huge rush since most are a bit behind.....so, i knew i had a bit of time to post....thought i would get it done yesterday, but that was not to be as yesterday i was out the door at 6:45 am for a physical therapy appt with one daughter, then high school orientation with another daughter at 9...that was just the beginning of the day of crazy running that finally finished with me getting home for good at 9:30 p.m. when i promptly fell into bed....
today promises to be alot easier and that suitcase and i have plans! washing machine--here i come!!! then, i plan to blog a bit about my trip, the 3 recent birthdays in my family and, of course the sew-a-long grids and my RAW (that is AMAZING by the way!!!) so, after i get some laundry and other chores going.....the grids will be up.
the picture at the top was taken on my trip at whiskeytown lake (near redding california)--i used to spend ALOT of time there while in high school and early years of college--such a BEAUTIFUL place! i took a picture of my feet in a creek there that is possibly my very favorite picture ever now.....oh, and i am plotting out a quilt that is a pretty good imitation of my tattoo of the celtic cross with the 4 trinity knots....i will show you my progress on that too.....yeah, i know, that washing machine is NOT gonna start itself--off to the salt mines for now--time to sit and blog later......
